Foresight’s Fall 2025 product release answers the question that everyone in the private market has been asking themselves: “how can we use AI for sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management?”

We heard from private funds, commercial banks, and M&A teams that being able to use natural language to get answers, visualize data, and execute workflows was key.

We launched Foresight in 2023 with an AI-driven data unification infrastructure that brings together every type of pre- and post-deal data into software modules for sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management. Now you can control all of that analytical power through natural language in our native chat interface on desktop or mobile and by using our new MCP server to connect Foresight to the AI service you use every day.

Unlock your sourcing data with natural language search.

No more clicking through countless filters in a dozen different interfaces. Foresight transforms how you discover and evaluate potential deals by letting you describe your search parameters in natural language.

Foresight Sourcing unifies your CRM (Affinity, Salesforce, etc) and third-party data (Harmonic, Pitchbook, etc) and lets you query it in an intelligent search experience. Instead of having to do a new search every time, you can create a dynamic pipeline of constantly refreshed companies that matches what you're looking for, like “SaaS companies in healthcare with $5-20M ARR growing 100%+ YoY.”

Each profile within your pipelines includes data from your combined sources, including firmographic data, financial metrics, and third-party intelligence. You can review these prospects, move them into your pipeline, and assign them to team members.

Unlock your portfolio data with Foresight’s Mobile and Desktop Agent.

For private funds, being able to see and report past performance and make strategic decisions about the future – fund construction, recycling, secondaries, etc – is critical. Just collecting KPIs doesn’t give your firm an edge. That’s why we built the only private market portfolio management product that integrates every source of data that powers the best reporting and decisions, like fund accounting, cap tables, KPIs, CRM, third-party data, and productivity tools like Slack.

Essential to the success of our mission to connect the private market is giving everyone who uses data to make decisions – the deal team, IR, finance & ops – the ability to access that data in whatever format works best in the moment of need. Sometimes that’s a software UI or a desktop, and sometimes that’s a chat interface on a mobile phone.

Foresight Portfolio now has a natural language chat interface integrated into our desktop as well as an interface optimized for mobile, which means you can ask questions – with your fingertips or your voice – like, “what’s the net IRR for Fund III?” and get instant, accurate answers.

By making post-investment data accessible through a natural language interface, the deal team can get quick insights without navigating a software interface, analysts can cut the time it takes to retrieve data, and anyone on the go can use a simplified mobile interface to get answers when they arise in transit or in meetings.

Unlock your board decks with Foresight’s Board Deck Analyst.

The answers to so many critical questions are trapped in hundreds of board decks that are typically floating around on Slack. Foresight’s new Board Deck Analyst grabs those decks from Slack and extracts structured insights from unstructured board decks instantly, generating professional board notes with all key financial data, strategic insights (like positives, negatives, fundraising, GTM partnerships, and risks) and action items.

Board decks alone don’t tell the entire story, so our Board Deck Analyst draws additional data from other sources unified by Foresight, like KPIs, notes from your CRM, and Slack conversation summaries – all tailored based on company stage – for a more complete analysis.

Board decks also don’t always tell the correct story, so our Board Deck Analyst also reconciles deck data with your internal metrics and flags discrepancies.

Unlock Glean with Foresight AI.

Unlocking an AI product with another AI product might sound puzzling. As great as Glean is, no conversational AI product is trained to interpret structured private market data, and none come equipped with the data infrastructure required to do so. That’s where Foresight comes in.

Our new integration with Glean means that you can use its enterprise search capability to query the portfolio data that’s stored in the data warehouse provisioned by Foresight. This integration means that you can ask portfolio questions directly in Glean and get answers that combine portfolio data and unstructured enterprise knowledge in seconds.

Unlock your AI workflows with Foresight’s MCP server.

MCPs (model context protocol) are essentially the “API” for AI, allowing any AI platform, like Claude or ChatGPT, to access a proprietary data set securely. Foresight’s native chat is great for most users and use cases, but many customers have widely deployed an AI platform that’s now embedded into core workflows.

Foresight’s MCP server means that you can plug portfolio data from Foresight into any AI workflow and ask your AI service the same questions that you would on Foresight, like “show me IRR performance by partner.”
